How do I get a quick start on the platform?⚓︎

  • After successfully logging in, you will be taken to the products page. You need to create a product, where the documents you upload will be linked.

Machine Selection

  • Once it is created, you will be redirected to the Search Page and all of the ASMPT Virtual Assist functionalities will be available to you.

  • To upload the files you want to extract, go to documents and upload the files you want to work with.

  • Once they are uploaded, you can proceed to the search tool and ask any questions you have related to the documents you uploaded.

How does the API work?⚓︎

At the moment, there is no public API. If you are interested in building integrations, please get in contact with our team for the enterprise package.

How do I search the uploaded documents?⚓︎

To view all the documents that have been uploaded in the system, you can go to the tools selection after choosing a product and selecting All Documents:

Why does my keyword search not work?⚓︎

ASMPT Virtual Assist is a software product optimized for natural language queries, allowing you to ask questions in a conversational manner for more accurate answers. The system is designed to provide more contextual information, resulting in more precise answers when you ask detailed questions. Unlike traditional keyword search systems, ASMPT Virtual Assist uses special notations to locate exact matches of desired keywords, such as "keyword." This feature ensures that you get the most relevant answers to your queries.

The system still supports keyword search, but asking detailed questions provides the most precise answers. If you have a specific document you want to download, you can use the documents screen to locate it. This feature enables you to easily access the information you need, without having to spend time searching for it.

Why is the content in my document not being read correctly by the system?⚓︎

At ASMPT Virtual Assist, our primary focus revolves around the utilization of Natural Language Processing (NLP) to comprehensively analyze documents. This involves working extensively with textual information, making text-rich data our particular area of expertise.

Text-poor data, such as images, tables and circuit diagrams are more challenging to process. Read our page on document upload guidelines to learn more.

Do not hesitate to reach out to our sales and support team to activate features such as OCR (optical character recognition), table parsing and other similar features, which are available as part of our premium packages.

How do I change the language on the platform?⚓︎

There are two options you can use to change the language on our platform. For desktop, you can change the language of the complete platform in the product selection page, by selecting language option in the top right corner.

Another option is to perform the search in a different language than the system settings, by selecting the language you want in the search bar configuration panel.

For mobile, you have to go to the settings of the application on the top right, click on "Change language" and then select the language you want to use.

How do I download a document I have uploaded?⚓︎

Downloading a document can be done by accessing the Actions panel within the table and selecting the Download option, whether from the All Documents tab or the Documents tab.

I forgot my password, how do I retrieve it?⚓︎

In case you forgot your password, please select the option for this case on the login menu.
